L’Aura Pizzicata is a dynamic ensemble dedicated to historical performance practice, exploring the intimate dialogue between voice and plucked instruments.With a particular focus on 17th-century repertoire, its work embraces a vivid and imaginative approach rooted in historically informed performance combined with spontaneous creativity.

Tra le Speranze e il Timore
In a world marked by uncertainty, where fear and hope intensely coexist, this programme invites a deep exploration of contrasting emotions: love and pain, fragility and strength, doubt and trust. Through music, L’Aura Pizzicata seeks to create a space in which these tensions can be felt, shared and transformed — a space where the audience is invited to experience emotional shifts, to find resonance, and to be moved.Rooted in the expressive language of the early Baroque, at its centre stand works by composers such as Barbara Strozzi and Antonia Bembo. Their music reflects not only the emotional richness of the time, but also a remarkable creative force: voices that, despite social constraints, gave form to both vulnerability and strength. In this context, the programme seeks to bring renewed attention to the work of women composers, whose music resonates with a particular urgency and depth today.
